Signature public spaces are open, bright, inviting, and safe

After years of serving the community well, the old Fountain Square and garage had outlived their 1970 design life. Design philosophy at that time called for a refuge from the city. Today, signature public spaces are open, bright, inviting, and safe. Surrounding retail, entertainment, restaurants, and programming create a dynamic energy that spreads from the city’s heart to the entire area.

The Tyler Davidson Fountain was placed in a prominent, central location worthy of its importance as a focal point for the Square.
