Everyone needs a break, especially in the summer, so Fountain Square hosts four silly “Freaky Friday” contests, including a coney eating contest, fish toss, water balloon toss, and ice cream eating contest.
The Servpro Water Balloon Toss was a traditional distance challenge, with players in two parallel lines tossing a water balloon across a short space that grew larger as the game continued. A broken balloon meant that team was out!
Last year, fifty teams competed, with the top prize going to Eric of Reading and Patrick of Montgomery, two boys in the Sherwin Star Sports program. Eric and Patrick won four tickets to The Beach Waterpark. Congratulations to them, and thanks to everyone who participated. We hope you had fun!
